Whether you are brand new to card making, you’ve never stamped before, or you simply want to refresh your creativity, you’re in the right place. My goal in creating this “Card Making for Beginners” series is to show you how to create beautiful and easy cards using basic card supplies. Throughout this 2 part workshop I will be sharing tips, tricks and focusing on the basic techniques that every stamper and card maker should know along with introducing you to the supplies we use and our trusty tools of the trade! Join us in person for some hands on experience creating your very own make n take projects!

Part 1 – Getting Started
Part 2 – How To Cut Cardstock
Getting started on the right foot will ensure that you have the basic products and supplies you need to be successful and enjoy your new hobby. Part of learning how to make handmade cards is learning what cardstock to use and how to cut your card stock. You need to know how to cut your card bases, as well as what sizes to use for the layers. I have some simple cutting tips to share with you so that you can learn how to cut cardstock the easy way and be successful with your layering.

Part 3 – Stamps, Inks & How To Get The Perfect Stamped Image
Part 4 All About Adhesives
In this workshop we’ll cover the basics of understanding the different types of stamps and adhesives. We’ll cover which inks and adhesives to use and the best one’s to choose when starting out. There are so many options and it can be confusing, however you only need a few basics when getting started!
