During our Christmas Stamp-A-Stack class earlier this month, we decided to put our hands into creating this gorgeous rustic Double Z-Fold Christmas card using the Dashing Deer Stamp Set, the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set, Detailed Deer Dies and the gorgeous Wrapped In Plaid designer series paper inspired from Frenchie.
Just love this gorgeous deer and the way it cuts out easily with the Detailed Deer Dies. The Deer is diecut from the Soft Suede & Whisper White Cardstock adhered together allowing a soft shadow effect. Then layered onto the Wrapped In Plaid DSP giving a little depth for effect.
The trees were stamped using the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and Soft Suede Ink, cut with the Pine Tree Punch along with a dash of Wink of Stella Glitter over the top, trimmed to size and also layered giving some depth to the card. Adding a little gold embroidery thread in a criss-cross fashion and a sentiment punched from the Tailored Tag Punch, saw this panel complete.
The remaining two panels were created also using the Wrapped In Plaid DSP, gold embroidery thread and the detailed corners were diecut from the Detailed Deer Dies in Whisper White and Crumb Cake Cardstock. The trees were stamped using the Soft Suede Inkpad with the second tree a little lighter using the stamp off method. All three panels were adhered to Crumb Cake Cardstock then adhered to the rear Z-Fold using Soft Suede Cardstock.
To finish off the card, a lovely sentiment stamped from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and the trees using the Soft Suede Inkpad on Whisper White Cardstock.
Such an easy card to create with a little ol’ and rustic feel.
