Welcome to Day 7 – 12 Merry Days Of Christmas Stampin’.
Don’t you just love this Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper, Gold Foil and the Beaded Pearls? I know I sure do!
Today’s card would have to be one of my favourites this season.
To create this gorgeous card, I stamped my greeting and sentiment using Early Espresso inkpad then prepared all my pieces from the Poinsettia Petals Bundle using the diecuts. I then cut out my card base from Mossy Meadow cardstock and my layers from the Poinsettia Place DSP and Whisper White cardstock.
Scoring my cardbase and adhering my layers with liquid glue, I could then attach my label and do a dry fitting for my Poinsettia and foliage. Once I had decided where I was going to put them, I added a Beaded Pearl (these are so gorgeous!) to the centre of my flower before attaching a dimensional to the rear and adhered to my card front, then added my gold foil berries and mossy meadow foliage.
My inside greeting was stamped using the Early Espresso Inkpad and I lightly stamped the corner of the poinsettia flower from the stamp set using the stamping off technique.
To finish off my card I added some Gold Metallic Pearls to the upper right corner and decided this was such a gorgeous card that it needed a gift box to match!.
