Dove Of Hope Christmas Card
Contents
Welcome Back to Day 5 of my 12 Merry Days of Christmas Stampin’
Today’s project has a little more detail using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Dove of Hope bundle from the Aug-Dec Mini Holiday Catalogue 2020.
I love this bundle too! lol

For my first card I created:
Card Base: Night of Navy, dry embossed with a similar embossing folder to the Parisian Flourish.
Card Front Layers: Silver Foil Sheet & Night of Navy Cardstock
Stamping: Embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.
Dove: Top Layer – Whisper White Cardstock, Bottom Layer – Vellum.
Label – Diecut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
My Second Card:
I replaced the silver foil sheet with whisper white cardstock and the vellum with the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper. I also replaced some ol’ ribbon I had lying around with some of the Polka Dot Tulle. The remaining difference, I stamped using the Night of Navy Inkpad. I really like the look of the tulle much better!
Assembling The Dove:
Before assembly, I popped the whisper white die-cut pieces (2 wings & body) into an aluminium foil tray and gave them a light spray with the champagne shimmer paint. Also love the way this gives your card a nice shimmery sparkle. I then attached my dove layers together with Liquid Glue and adhered to my card front using dimensionals.
