12 Merry Days Of Christmas Stampin’ – Day 12

Mini Curvy Snowman Treat Box

Welcome back to the final day of my 12 Merry Days Of Christmas Stampin’.
These lil’ snowmen are easy to create and they are so cute!

With a little die-cutting using the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Die, a couple of punches or circle dies, some coloured cardstock, adhesive, a mini clothes peg and some items you have lying about, you too can create these cute little Christmas critters at home!

To create my little snowman:-
I cut out his belly using the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Die (pictured above) from Whisper White cardstock.
Cut 2 x circles from the Layering Circle Dies in Whisper White cardstock for his head.
Fussy cut a nose from Pumpkin Pie cardstock,
Hole punched a couple of eyes and buttons and fussy cut a bowtie from Basic Black cardstock.  (You could always use the Rhinestone Basic Jewels or some black enamel dots too!)
For his little eyes, I used a white gel pen, inked up a cotton wool tip with the Stampin’ Up! Blushing Bride Inkpad for his cheek and using a black felt tip pen, drew a cute l’l smile.
For his hat, using some scrap Basic Black cardstock, I cut a small rectangle and created the curves on his hat using the Detailed Trio Punch.  For the brim of his hat I used the Classic Label Punch and again curved the sides, 1 x Basic Black and 1 x Silver Glitter Paper.
The wooden snowflakes I picked up from a local craft store, added a Rhinestone Jewel to the centre and assembled his hat then adhered to his cute little face.
To assemble this little guy’s head, I found some tiny clothes pegs from Officeworks which were perfect!  Using some adhesive I attached his face and the other die-cut circle (for the rear of his head) to either side of the peg.
This way you can easily remove/replace his head to open and close the treat box.
We can’t have a treat box without a treat now can we?
I found these gorgeous little chocolate christmas tree balls in our local chocky shop which were the perfect size for our mini snowmen.
As I assembled my box, I left one flap open, slid in the treat, closed up the box and pegged on his head lol

Who wouldn’t love this cute l’l guy as a treat during this wonderful festive season!
